Spiral Moon Social Network is a private, Pagan owned and operated social media network for the Pagan community. Most Spiral Moon Family Circle conversations will happen here. Community Guidelines: Spiral Moon Community Guidelines Applies to: - Social: social.spiralmoon.org - Media outlets: Spiral Moon TV, radio, podcasts, livestreams, and any affiliated streaming or on‑demand channels (the “Network”) - Together, these are the “Services” 1) Our purpose and values - We are a Pagan‑owned, Pagan‑centered community welcoming Pagans, witches, polytheists, animists, heathens, occultists, and respectful interfaith participants. - Core values: respect, consent, cultural care, safety, and inclusivity. 2) Who can participate - Minimum age: 16 to use our social platform and participate in chats/call‑ins. - No minors (under 18) may appear in or be depicted in any nudity or sexual content. Do not sexualize minors under any circumstances. 3) Respect and anti‑harassment - No harassment, hate, or demeaning content targeting any spiritual path or protected characteristic (including anti‑Pagan bias, racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, casteism). - No doxxing, stalking, brigading, targeted harassment, or credible threats. - Interfaith dialogue is welcome; proselytizing that demeans others or demands conversion is not. 4) Spiritual, ritual, and magical content - Discussion of ritual, spellwork, divination, astrology, and occult study is allowed. - Do not solicit or coordinate real‑world harm, violence, or targeted curses/hexes against identifiable people or groups. - No guaranteed‑outcome claims for magic, readings, or workings. - Spiritual/metaphysical content is for community, educational, and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice. 5) Consent, privacy, and sacred materials - Obtain consent before posting images, audio, or video featuring identifiable people (including ritual participants). - Do not share private coven materials, initiation oaths, or closed‑tradition teachings without clear, documented permission from authorized tradition holders. - Do not post others’ personal information (no doxxing). 6) Health, safety, and legality - Do not share instructions that could reasonably cause harm (e.g., unsafe fire use, toxic botanicals, ingestion of unsafe substances, illegal activities). - Clearly label risks and allergens in DIY items (candles, oils, botanicals). - Always follow the law. No illegal items, stolen goods, restricted wildlife/parts, or instructions to commit crimes. - Content about health, legal, or financial topics must include disclaimers and must not be presented as professional advice. 7) Nudity and sexual content - Allowed: Non‑sexual, artistic, or ritual nudity with clear content warnings; use age‑gating/sensitivity settings where available. Group owners and show hosts may set stricter rules. - Not allowed: Explicit sexual content or pornography; any depiction or sexualization of minors. - We will report child sexual abuse material to authorities. 8) Name policy and identity - Craft names and pseudonyms are welcome for safety and spiritual reasons. - No impersonation of real people, entities, or traditions. Clearly label parody/satire and avoid confusion. - We may privately request legal identity for compliance matters (e.g., DMCA counter‑notices, paid services, or specific disputes). We keep such information confidential unless required by law. 9) Intellectual property and cultural respect - Share only content you have rights to share. Credit sources where required. - Respect closed practices and living traditions. Follow all labeling/safety laws. - Be accurate in listings; do not guarantee outcomes for spiritual services. 11) Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate disclosures - Clearly disclose paid/sponsored content, gifts, or affiliate links (e.g., “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” #ad, #sponsored) in line with FTC guidance and applicable law. - Claims in ads and sponsored segments must be truthful, not misleading, and appropriately disclaimed. - Do not target users you know or should know are under 18 with adult or regulated products/services. - We may label, restrict, or remove ads/sponsorships that conflict with our policies or mission. 12) Media participation (TV/radio/podcast/streaming) - Submissions and appearances: - By submitting content (audio, video, text, images) for our shows, you represent you have rights to share it and consent to its use across our Network. - We may edit for length, clarity, or safety. Submission does not guarantee publication or broadcast. - Live participation (call‑ins, chat, live video) is moderated. Hosts and moderators may mute, remove, or end segments to enforce these Guidelines. - Releases and licensing: - Participants may be asked to sign a guest release. Unless otherwise stated, you grant Spiral Moon a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, display, perform, and promote submitted or recorded content in connection with the Network and our platforms. - Names and pronouns: - We honor craft names and stated pronouns. Editorial decisions remain at our discretion; we aim for fairness and accuracy. 13) Accessibility and inclusion - When possible, provide: - Alt text for images. - Captions/subtitles for video; transcripts for audio. - Clear content warnings for sensitive material. - Avoid slurs and demeaning language. Use inclusive terms where possible. 14) AI, bots, and automation - Label AI‑generated images, audio, or text where confusion could occur. - Do not use bots to spam, scrape, manipulate metrics, or evade moderation. 15) Group Admins, Creators, and Hosts - Group Admins and show Hosts may set additional local rules consistent with these Guidelines. - They may remove content, limit features, or block participants to protect community safety and mission alignment. - Escalate serious or repeated violations to media@spiralmoon.net. 16) Enforcement - Possible actions include content warnings, age‑gating, removal, temporary restrictions, account suspension/termination, and removal from live participation or programming. - We may act on off‑platform behavior if it poses a credible risk to our users or staff. - Notice: When feasible, we’ll provide a brief reason for enforcement actions. - Appeals: You may appeal within 30 days by emailing media@spiralmoon.net with your username, links/details, and reasons. No spam, repetitive self‑promotion, or link dumping. - No graphic violence or gore.
